بالضم، وبعد الواو الساكنة همزة، وهاء:
بلد قريب من الجند من أرض اليمن، خرج على السلطان بجانب منه رجل من السكاسك يقال له عبد الله ابن زيد. والجوأة أيضا: من قرى زبيد باليمن.
