الجَلَب: ما جيء به من بلد للتجارة وفي الحديث: "نهي عن تلقي الجلب" وأيضاً بمعنى أن يجلبوا إلى المصدق أنعامَهم في موضع ينزله فنهى عن ذلك في قوله: "لا جلب ولا جنب" وأمر أن يأتي بنفسه في أفنيتهم فيأخذ صدقاتهم.
