نهران بأرّان أو أرمينية، ويقال لهما:
الثرثور الكبير والثرثور الصغير. وفي كتاب الفتوح:
نزل سلمان بن ربيعة لما نزل برذعة على الثرثور، وهو نهر منها على أقلّ من فرسخ.
