هو عند أهل النظر سوق الدليل على وجه يستلزم المطلوب. فإن كان الدليل يقينيا يستلزم اليقين به وإن كان ظنيّا يستلزم الظنّ به وهو مرادف التطبيق هكذا في حواشي شرح الشمسية.
