التقليب: تغيير الشيء من حال إلى حال وتقليب الأمور: تدبيرها والنظر فيها. وتقليب الله القلوب والبصائر: صرفها عن رأي إلى رأي. وتقليب اليد عبارة عن الندم ذكرا لحال ما يوجد عليه النادم. والتقلب: التصرف، قال تعالى {أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمْ} .
