بالكسر، والتاء فوقها نقطتان: بلدة من بلاد الشاش، خرج منها جماعة من العلماء، منهم:
أبو إبراهيم إسماعيل بن أحمد بن سعيد بن النجم بن ولاثة البسكتي الشاشي، كانت وفاته بعد الأربعمائة.
