البَذَعُ، محركةً: الفَزَعُ.
والمَبْذُوعُ: المَذْعُورُ المُفَزَّعُ.
وبَذَعَه، كمنَعه: أفْزَعَه
كأَبْذَعَه،
وـ الحُبُّ: قَطَرَ الماءَ،
وذلك القَطْرُ: بَذْعٌ. وصُبْحُ بنُ بَذِيعٍ، كأميرٍ: محدِّثٌ خُراسانيٌّ، رَوَى عنه أحمدُ بنُ أبي الحَوارِيِّ.
