الاسفاقس: (يونانية Eleciophakosn) ، ناعمة، سالمة، قوية (نبات). ابن البيطار (1: 77) وهو يقول: إن الألف واللام فيه أصلية تعد من نفس الكلمة، وهو مصيب في قوله. المستعيني، ولم ترد الكلمة في موضعها عند فريتاج.
