الإِجادُ، ككِتابٍ: كالطَّاقِ القَصيرِ.
وناقةٌ أُجُدٌ، بضمَّتينِ: قَوِيَّةٌ مُوَثَّقَةُ الخَلْقِ، مُتَّصِلَةُ فَقارِ الظَّهْرِ، خاصٌّ بالإِناثِ، وآجَدَها اللهُ تعالى.
وبِناءٌ مُوجَدٌ: مُحْكَمٌ.
وإِجِدْ بالكسر ساكِنَةَ الدَّالِ: زَجْرٌ لِلإِبِلِ.
