الأَرْحَاء:
جمع رحى التي يطحن بها: اسم قرية قرب واسط العراق، ينسب إليها أبو السعادات علي ابن ابي الكرم بن علي الأرحائي الضرير، سمع صحيح البخاري ببغداد من أبي الوقت عبد الأوّل وروى، ومات في سلخ جمادى الآخرة سنة 609، وسماعه صحيح.
