الأَحْصَبَان:
تثنية الأحصب، من الأرض الحصباء، وهي الحصى الصغار، ومنه المحصّب، موضع الجمار بمنّى، قال أبو سعد: هو اسم موضع باليمن، ينسب إليه أبو الفتح أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن الحسين الأحصبي الورّاق نزل الأحصبين.
