الآدَرُ والمَأْدورُ: مَنْ يَنْفَتِقُ صِفاقُهُ فَيَقَعُ قُصْبُهُ في صَفْنِهِ، ولا يَنْفَتِقُ إلا من جانِبِه الأَيْسَرِ، أو مَنْ يُصيبُهُ فَتْقٌ في إحدَى خُصْيَيْهِ،
أدِرَ، كفَرِحَ، والاسمُ: الأُدْرَةُ، بالضم ويُحَرَّكُ.
وخُصْيَةٌ أدْراءُ: عظيمةٌ بِلا فَتْقٍ.
وقومٌ مآديرُ: أُدْرٌ.
