يُقال للشَّيْءِ إذا انْتَفَخَ: احْرَنْفَشَ. والحِرْفِشُ: الحَيَّةُ لأنَّها تَحْرَنْفِشُ إذا أرادَتِ الوَثْبَ، وكذلك الإنسان إذا تَهَيَّأَ للشَّرِّ.
