إِشْكِيذَبَانُ:
بكسر أوله والكاف، وياء ساكنة، وفتح الذال المعجمة، وباء موحدة، وألف، ونون:
قرية بين هراة وبوشنج، ينسب إليها الإمام أبو العباس الإشكيذباني وأبو الفتح محمد بن عبد الله بن الحسين الإشكيذباني، سمع بهمذان من أبي الفضل أحمد بن سعد بن حمّان، ومن أبي الوقت عبد الأول الشّجزى، ومات بمكة في حدود سنة 590.
