إوَزّ أو وز: وز عراقي: كركي (بوشر، ألف ليلة 3: 239). أما الإِوز أو الوز فيقال له: إوَزْ بلدي (ألف ليلة برسل 2: 156).
وزّاز: من يربي الوز ويعني به، ففي معجم الكالا: ansareria ( المحل الذي يربى به الوز ويغذى): وزازين (انظر معجم الأسبانية 357، 358).
