بالضم ثم السكون، والباء موحدة مفتوحة، وراء مهملة: من قرى بلخ، ينسب إليها أبو حامد أحمد بن يحيى بن هشام الأوبري، توفي في شوال سنة خمس وثلاثمائة عن أربع وسبعين سنة.
