بالفتح ثم السكون، وتاء فوقها نقطتان مكسورة، وياء وألف ونون: قرية من نواحي أستوا من أعمال نيسابور، منها أبو عبد الله الحسن بن اسماعيل بن عليّ الأرتياني النيسابوري، مات بعد العشر والثلاثمائة.
