: (} الأَيَّابُ كَكَتَّانِ) عَن ابْن الأَثير فِي حَدِيث عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: (كَانَ طَالُوتُ {أَيَّاباً) قَالَ: قَالَ الخَطَّابِيُّ جَاءَ فِي تَفْسِيرِه فِي الحَدِيث أَنَّه (السَّقَّاءُ) ، كَذَا فِي (ليان الْعَرَب) .
(} والأَيْبَةُ: الأَوْبَةُ) عَلَى المُعَاقَبَة، بمَعْنَى الرُّجُوعِ والتَّوْبَةِ، ظَاهِرٌ أَنَّهُ من {آبَ} يَئيبُ كبَاع يَبِيعُ، وَقد قَالُوا: إِنَّهَا مادَّةٌ مُهْمَلَةٌ) وإِنَّمَا خُفِّفَ كَمَا ذكرْنَا، فذِكرُ المُؤَلِّفِ لَهُ هُنَا مُسْتَدْرَكٌ، قَالَه شيخُنَا.
