أكرار: رقيب الشمس، عباد الشمس (بوشر). والكلمة من لغة أهل نجد ففي ابن البيطار (1: 75): إكرار اسم عند عرب نجد للنوع الكبير من الطرنشولي الذي لا يثمر الثمر اللازوردي اللون وهو عندهم الشوم (الثوم) وصوابه التنوم.
