أغْرِل أو أغريل: تحريف كلمة رومانية مشتقة من اللاتينية glis ( زغبة، الفأرة النوامة) .. وفي لغة الأقاليم glire، وبالأسبانية liron) تجمع على أَغْرِليات: الفأرة النوامة، زغبة، جرذ سنجابي جمعه أغرليات (فوك).
