أبُورِيُه: جمعها ابوريات، عصا، منخاس (الكالا) وهذه الكلمة من أصل أسباني. والحق أن هذا الاسم ليس موجودا الآن في الأسبانية، ولكن الفعل apporrear موجود فيها بمعنى ضربه بالعصا ضربا متواترا. ويرى سيمونه أن apear مشتقة من appodium ( عند دوكانج) عكازة الشيوخ.
