تَألدَ فلانٌ وتَلَددَ: أي تَحَيرَ. وجاءَ مُتَالداً: أي مُتَرَدِّداً. وألِدَ فينا فلان: أي وُلدَ. ويُقال: إلْدَةٌ ووِلْدَةٌ.
