أَقر
: (} أُقُرٌ، بضمَّتَين: وادٍ واسعٌ مملوءٌ حَمْضاً ومِياهاً) فِي ديار غَطَفانَ، قريبٌ من الشَّرَبَّة، وَقيل: جَبَلٌ، وَقيل: هُوَ مِن عَدَنَةَ، وَقيل: جِبالٌ أَعلاها لبَنِي مُرَّةَ بنِ كَعْبٍ، وأَسفلُها لفَزارةَ، وأَنشدَ الجوهريُّ لِابْنِ مُقْبِل:
وثرْوَةٍ مِنْ رِجَالٍ لَو رَأَيتَهُمُ
لَقُلْتَ إِحْدَى حِرَاجِ الجَرِّ مِنْ أُقُرِ
{وأَقُرّ، بفتحِ الهمزةِ وضَمِّ القافِ وتشدِيدِ الرّاءِ: موضعٌ أَو جَبَلٌ بعرَفَةَ.
وأُقَرُ كزُفَر: جبلٌ باليمنِ فِي وادٍ مُتَّسعٍ من أَوديةِ شَهارةَ، قَالَ الشّاعر:
وَفِي شَهَارةَ أَيّامٌ تعقّبها
قتْل القَرامطةِ الأَشرارِ فِي} أُقَرِ
إِشارة إِلى قَتْل الصليحيِّ وجماعتِه فِي هاذا الْوَادي بعد السِّتمائة من الْهِجْرَة.
