قنول، والجمع قناول: ناب، وهي سن مستطيلة رهيفة الأعلى بجانب الرباعية. (فوك) والجمع قناول عند الكالا هو الصحيح وهو ليس مفردا. ويرى السيد سيمونيه (ص311) أن كلمة قنول مشتقة من كلمة Caninus.
