صلهب
Q. 4 اِصْلَهَبَّتِ الأَشْيَآءُ i. q. اِمْتَدَّتْ عَلَى جِهَتِهَا [The things extended in their proper direction]. (K. [In the O, اِشْتَدَّتْ is put in the place of امتدّت. Compare اِسْلَهَبَّ.]) صَلْهَبٌ A tall man; (As, IJ, O, K;) and so سَلْهَبٌ [q. v.]; (IJ, TA;) as also ↓ مُصْلَهِبٌّ or ↓ مُصَلْهَبٌ. (K accord. to different copies.) b2: And A strong camel; (K;) and so ↓ صَلَهْبًى, (ElUmawee, S, K,) in which the final letter is [not a sign of the fem. gender but] to render the word quasi-coordinate to the quadriliteral-radical class; (S;) fem. صَلْهَبَةٌ (TA) and ↓ صَلَهْبَاةٌ: (S, K:) pl. صَلَاهِبُ. (AA, O, TA.) b3: And A large, or great, house or tent. (Lth, O, K.) b4: And A hard stone; as also ↓ صُلَاهِبٌ.
