(شجب) : شَجَبَه بالرُّمْحِ ويَرْمى الرَّجُلُ الظَّبْيَ فيُصِيبُه في المَكان منه، فيُقال: شَجَبَه، وذاك أَنْ يُبِينَ بعضَ قَوائِمِه فلا، يَسْتَطيع أنْ يَبْرَحَ.
