expl. as meaning One who sells grave-clothes, and [therefore] wishes for people's death: it may be from السَّوْءُ and المَسَآءَةُ: or from السَّىْءُ meaning “ the milk that is in the fore part of the udder: ” or it may be from سَيَّأْتُهَا meaning “ I milked her. ” (
