سكرَّدان: (مركبة من كلمة سُكَّر ومن الكلمة دان): وعاء السكْر، سُكَّرية. غير أنها تستعمل بمعنى وعاء عامة، ففي ألف ليلة (برسل 2: 325): سكودان من المخللات أي وعاء مملوء بالمخللات (بالطرشي).
سُكروجة: صفحة، طاس (بوشر، لين ترجمة ألف ليلة 2: 495 رقم 13. ويقال سُكُرُّجَة أيضاً وجمعها سكاريج (ألف ليلة 2: 258) أو سكارج (باين سميث 1482، ألف ليلة 3: 107)
