خَلَدَ(n. ac. خُلُوْد)
a. Endured, lasted; continued for ever, was eternal.
b. [Bi], Settled, dwelt, resided in.
c. Carried his years well; aged late.

خَلَّدَa. Made to endure, last, continue; made perpetual
eternal.

أَخْلَدَa. see IIb. [Ila], Inclined towards; attached himself to.
