القُلّةُ: جَرّة يُقلِّها إنسان هي بقدر ما يطيق حملها واحد والقلتين في حديث: "إذا بلغ الماء قلتين" قَدَّرهما الشافعي رحمه الله تعالى بخمس قِرَب وكل قِرْبة خمسون منّا فالقُلتان خمسمائة رطل ونصفُ مَنٍّ.
