يفخ: اليافوخ: ملتقى عظم مقدم الرأْس ومؤخره، وهو مذكور في الهمزة؛ قال

ابن سيده: لم يشجعنا على وضعه في هذا الباب إِلاَّ أَنَّا وجدنا جمعه

يوافيخ فاستدللنا بذلك على أَن ياءه أَصل، وقد ذكرناه نحن في أَفخ.

وَقد تقدّم فِي الْهمزَة، وَإِنَّمَا شجعنا على وضَعه فِي هَذَا الْبَاب أنّا وجدنَا جَمعه: يَوافِيخ، فاستدللنا بذلك على أَن " ياءه " اصل.
