(وَسَنَ) الْوَاوُ وَالسِّينُ وَالنُّونُ: كَلِمَتَانِ مُتَقَارِبَتَانِ. الْوَسَنُ: النُّعَاسُ، وَكَذَا السِّنَةُ. وَرَجُلٌ وَسْنَانُ. وَتَوَسَّنَ الْفَحْلُ أُنْثَاهُ: أَتَاهَا نَائِمَةً.

وَالْكَلِمَةُ الْأُخْرَى قَوْلُهُمْ: دَعْ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ فَلَا يَكُونَنَّ لَكَ وَسَنًا، أَيْ لَا تَطْلُبْهُ وَلَا يَكُونَنَّ مِنْ هَمِّكَ.
