بليدة بين الرّيّ وآمل طبرستان، بينها وبين كل واحد من البلدين ثمانية عشر فرسخا، ولها قلعة حصينة لها ذكر كثير في أخبار آل بويه والديلم، ينسب إليها محمد بن بندار بن محمد اللارجاني الطبري أبو يوسف الفقيه قدم أصبهان.
