- فِي حَدِيثِ عُمَرَ «وَعَلَيْهِ قميصٌ مِنْ كَرَابِيسَ» هِيَ جَمْع كِرْباس، وهُو القُطْن.
وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ «فأصْبَح وقَد اعْتَمَّ بعِمامَةٍ كَرَابِيسَ سَوْدَاء» .
