i. q. صَوَّرَ [He formed, fashioned, figured, shaped, sculptured, or pictured:

K.) صَنَمٌ [An idol: or an idol of a particular kind:] a وَثَن: (

IAar, that ↓ صَنَمَةٌ and نَصَمَةٌ signify an image (صُورَةٌ) that is worshipped; (
