بالفتح ثم السكون، وسينين مهملتين بينهما ياء مثناة: قرية من قرى مصر، بينها وبين سمنّود أربعة فراسخ، وبينها وبين برا فرسخان، يضاف إليها كورة فيقال كورة دمسيس ومنوف.
