د ف ء : دَفِئَ الْبَيْتُ يَدْفَأُ مَهْمُوزٌ مِنْ بَابِ تَعِبَ قَالُوا وَلَا يُقَالُ فِي اسْمِ الْفَاعِلِ دَفِيءٌ وِزَانُ كَرِيمٍ بَلْ وِزَانُ تَعِبَ وَدَفِئَ الشَّخْصُ فَالذَّكَرُ دَفْآنُ وَالْأُنْثَى دَفْأَى مِثْلُ: غَضْبَانَ وَغَضْبَى إذَا لَبِسَ مَا يُدْفِئُهُ وَدَفُؤَ الْيَوْمُ مِثَالُ قَرُبَ وَالدِّفْءُ وِزَانُ حِمْلٍ خِلَافُ الْبُرْدِ.

a. Was, became warm. — II, IV, Warmed, heated; aired by
the fire.

تَدَفَّأَإِسْتَدْفَأَa. Was warmly clad, put on warm clothing.
b. Warmed himself ( at the fire ).
