بضم أوله، وبعد الميم تاء مثناة من فوق:
من قرى بخارى، ينسب إليها أبو صالح الطيب بن مقاتل بن سليمان بن حمّاد الخنامتيّ البخاري، يروي عن إبراهيم بن الأشعث، روى عنه أبو الطيب طاهر بن محمد بن حموية البخاري.
