خَيْمَرٌ:
من بلاد غطفان، قال عوف بن مالك القسري يخاطب عيينة بن حصن بن حذيفة الفزاري وقد أعاد الحلف بين طيّء وغطفان في أيام طليحة:
أبا مالك! إن كان ساءك ما ترى، ... أبا مالك! فانطح برأسك كوثرا
وإني لحام بين شوط وحيّة ... كما قد حميت الخيمتين وخيمرا
وبرّكت حولي للأصمّ فوارسا، ... وللغوث قوما دارعين وحسّرا
