خَشَرَ(n. ac. خَشْر)
a. Picked over.
b. Rendered vile.

خَشِرَ(n. ac. خَشَر)
a. Fled in terror.

خَاْشِرa. Rabble, scum.

خُشَاْر
خُشَاْرَةa. The bad or refuse of anything.

خَشْرَمَة
a. Swarm of bees or wasps.

(خَشَرَ) الْخَاءُ وَالشِّينُ وَالرَّاءُ يَدُلُّ عَلَى رَدَاءَةٍ وَدُونٍ. فَالْخُشَارَةُ: مَا بَقِيَ [عَلَى] الْمَائِدَةِ، مِمَّا لَا خَيْرَ فِيهِ. يُقَالُ خَشَرْتُ أَخْشِرُ خَشْرًا، إِذَا بَقَّيْتَ الرَّدِيَّ. وَيُقَالُ الْخُشَارَةُ مِنَ الشَّعِيرِ: مَا لَا لُبَ لَهُ، فَهُوَ كَالنُّخَالَةِ. وَإِنَّ فُلَانًا لَمِنْ خُشَارَةِ النَّاسِ، أَيْ رُذَالِهِمْ.
