حَوْضُ داوُدَ:
محلّة كانت ببغداد قرب سوق العطش في شرقي بغداد إلى جنب الرّصافة، خربت الآن، وهذا الحوض منسوب إلى داود بن المهدي بن المنصور، وقيل: هو منسوب إلى داود مولى المهدي، وقيل:
إن داود مولى نصير ونصير مولى المهدي، ولداود هذا قطيعة من سوق العطش.
