حظر
الحَظْرُ: جمع الشيء في حَظِيرَة، والمَحْظُور: الممنوع، والمُحْتَظِرُ: الذي يعمل الحظيرة. قال تعالى: فَكانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ [القمر/ 31] ، وقد جاء فلان بالحَظِرِ الرّطب، أي: الكذب المستبشع .

(حَظَرَ) الْحَاءُ وَالظَّاءُ وَالرَّاءُ أَصْلٌ وَاحِدٌ يَدُلُّ عَلَى الْمَنْعِ. يُقَالُ حَظَرْتُ الشَّيْءَ أَحْظُرُهُ حَظْرًا، فَأَنَا حَاظِرٌ وَالشَّيْءُ مَحْظُورٌ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {وَمَا كَانَ عَطَاءُ رَبِّكَ مَحْظُورًا} [الإسراء: 20] . وَالْحِظَارُ: مَا حُظِرَ عَلَى غَنَمٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهَا بِأَغْصَانٍ أَوْ شَيْءٍ مِنْ رَطْبِ شَجَرٍ أَوْ يَابِسٍ، وَلَا يَكَادُ يُفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ إِلَّا بِالرَّطْبِ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ يَيْبَسُ. وَفَاعِلُ ذَلِكَ الْمُحْتَظِرُ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {فَكَانُوا كَهَشِيمِ الْمُحْتَظِرِ} [القمر: 31] ، أَيِ الَّذِي يَعْمَلُ الْحَظِيرَةَ لِلْغَنَمِ ثُمَّ يَيْبَسُ ذَلِكَ فَيَتَهَشَّمُ. وَيُقَالُ جَاءَ فُلَانٌ بِالْحَظِرِ الرَّطْبِ، إِذَا جَاءَ بِالْكَذِبِ الْمُسْتَشْنَعِ. وَيُقَالُ هُوَ يُوقِدُ فِي الْحَظْرِ، إِذَا كَانَ يَنِمُّ وَقَدْ مَضَى شَاهِدُهُ.
