برعس: ناقة بِرْعِسٌ وبِرْعِيسٌ: غزيرة؛ وأَنشد:

إِنْ سَرَّكَ الغُزْرُ المَكُودُ الدائمُ،

فاعْمِدْ بَراعِيسَ أَبوها الرَّاهِمُ

وراهم: اسم فحل، وقيل: ناقة بِرْعِسٌ وبِرْعِيسٌ جميلة تامة.
