الزاي ساكنة، والكاف مضمومة، واللام مشددة، قال أبو سعد: بلدة على البحر بأسفل البصرة، ولا أعرفها أنا، ونسب إليها أبا الحسن محمد ابن يحيى البازكلّي المعروف بهلال الصيرفي، مات بعد سنة 420، ومحمد بن عبد الرزاق البازكلي وأخاه عليّا من تلاميذ أبي إسحاق الشيرازي وهما فقيهان.
