التَّهَكُّمُ: التَّهَدُّمُ في البِئْرِ ونحوِها، والاسْتِهْزاءُ،
كالأُهْكومَةِ، والطَّعْنُ المُتَداركُ، والتَّبَخْتُرُ، والغَضَبُ الشَّديدُ، والتَّنَدُّمُ على الأَمْرِ الفائِتِ، والمَطَر الكثيرُ الذي لا يُطاقُ، والتَّغَنِّي.
وهَكَّمْتُه تَهْكيماً: غَنَّيْتُ له.
والمُسْتَهْكِمُ: المُتَكَبِّرُ. وككتِفٍ: الشِّرِّيرُ المُقْتَحِمُ على ما لا يَعْنِيهِ.
