إِسكَنْدَرُونَة:
بعد الدال راء، وواو ساكنة، ونون، قال أحمد بن الطيّب: هي مدينة في شرقي أنطاكية على ساحل بحر الشام وبينها وبين بغراس أربعة فراسخ، وبينها وبين أنطاكية ثمانية فراسخ، ووجدت في بعض تواريخ الشام أنّ إسكندرونة بين عكا وصور.
