(أضم) - وفي الحَدِيث: "فأَضِمُوا عليه".
يقال: أَضِم الرجلُ، إذا أضمرَ حِقدًا لا يستَطِيع إمضاءَه.
- وفي بَعض الأَحادِيث: "ذِكْرُ إضَمَ".
هو بِكَسْر الهَمزة وفَتْح الضّاد، اسم جَبَل، وقيل: مَوضِع.

- فِي حَدِيثِ وَفْدِ نَجْرَان «وأَضِمَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْهُ أَخُوهُ كُرْزُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ حَتَّى أَسْلَمَ» يُقالُ أَضِمَ الرَّجُل بِالْكَسْرِ يَأْضَمُ أَضَماً إِذَا أضْمر حِقْداً لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ إِمْضَاءَهُ.
(س) وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ الْآخَرُ «فَأَضِمُوا عَلَيْهِ» .
(س) وَفِي بَعْضِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ذِكْرُ «إِضَم» ، هُوَ بِكَسْرِ الْهَمْزَةِ وَفَتْحِ الضَّادِ اسْمُ جَبَلٍ وَقِيلَ مَوْضِعٌ.

عجلت بنو شيبان مدّتهم، ... والبقع أسناها بنو لأم
