[منجن] المنجنون: الدولاب التى يستقى عليها. قال ابن السكيت: هي المحالة التى يسنى عليها. وهى مؤنثة على فعللول، والميم من نفس الحرف كما قلناه في منجنيق ; لانه يجمع على مناجين. وأنشد الاصمعي :

ومنجنون كالاتان الفارق * ويروى: " ومنجنى "، وهما بمعنى.
