لعط
أهْمَله الخَليل. وحَكى الخارْزَنْجِيُّ: المَلْعَط يُلْعَطُ: أي يُلْحَسُ، من المَرَاعي. ولَعَطَه بِسَهْمٍ: حَشَاه. ومَرً يَلْعَطُ: أي يُسْرِع. واللَعْطُ: سِمَةُ الشّاةِ يُخَططُوْنَ على صَفْح رَقَبَتِها، وهي مَلْعُوْطَة.

(لَعَطَ) اللَّامُ وَالْعَيْنُ وَالطَّاءُ. الصَّحِيحُ مِنْهُ لَوْنٌ مِنَ الْأَلْوَانِ، قَالَ ابْنُ دُرَيْدٍ: " اللُّعْطَةُ: خَطٌّ بِسَوَادٍ. وَلَعْطَةُ الصَّقْرِ: السُّفْعَةُ فِي وَجْهِهِ ". وَيُقَالُ اللُّعْطَةُ: سَوَادٌ فِي عُنُقِ الشَّاةِ. وَذَكَرَ بَعْضُهُمْ: لَعَطَهُ بِحَقِّهِ: اتَّقَاهُ بِهِ، وَمَرَّ فُلَانٌ لَاعِطًا، أَيْ مَرَّ مُعَارِضًا إِلَى جَنْبِ حَائِطٍ.
