[ظيى] الظيان: ياسمين البر، وهو فعلان. قال الهذَلي : تاللهِ يَبْقى على الأيام ذو حِيَدِ بمُشْمَخِرٍّ به الظَيَّانُ والآس يعنى لا يبقى، لانه لو أراد الايجاب لادخل عليه اللام، لان اللام في الايجاب بمنزلة لا في النفى. ويقال: الظيان: العسل. والآس: بقية العسل في الخلية.
